What is the difference between a school account and a family account?

A family account gives you access to the same Netmath content provided in a school account. We currently offer content for the Grade 1 to Grade 10 curriculums of most provinces in Canada.

Besides a centralized login under the parent account for the whole family, the two types of accounts differ mainly in the reporting options. The family account will not have all the tools a teacher usually needs to track their students' learning. However, a parent can still follow their child's progress.

In the parent's account, you can see activities your child has completed by going to the Report menu on the main page. It is also possible to access the Detailed Report of a completed activity by selecting the icon to the right of each activity entry:

This report allows you to see the completed pages in an activity and to determine a threshold for the number of attempts in an activity in order to assess the effort or difficulty encountered.

Please note that it is not possible for a parent to send activities to their children through the platform.
